The Laboratory of Anatomic Pathology of the Lebanese Hospital Geitaoui-UMC is located in the Department of Laboratory at the entrance B1.

Our pathologists provide a full range of consultative and diagnostic services, ranging from flow cytometry and molecular diagnostics to surgical pathology. All have special areas of interest and expertise in the subspecialties of pathology, including breast, genitourinary, gynecological, gastrointestinal, bone, endocrine, head and neck, soft-tissue, and kidney.

The Laboratory of Anatomic Pathology provides the following services:

• Perform Pathological Anatomy and Cytology examinations
• Performance of special techniques:
         o Immunohistochemistry
         o Immunofluorescence
         o Molecular Biology (PCR, FISH, EGFR, ...)
• Withdrawals of cytological through puncture of accessible lesions
